Water cards for ODBD

Here is a card I made for OWH  and for the Our Daily Bread Designs challenge- which for June the theme is water.

   The card is --    core'dinations card set
       sentiment and image --- My Favorite Things   ( Smooth Sailing Flopsey) 
        colored with Spectrum Noir pens

    Paper -- scaps of water like blue, wood,  and plain vellum



By the way Happy Fathers Day!!  

Talked to my Dad earlier, cant wait to see him and the rest of the family next month.

I missed the OWH annual Memorial day bloghop but finally got a chance to go through all the links . WOW !!  Such a fantastic hop. Many great new ideas and such great cards. Nice job everyone.

 We went camping and I 've got poison ivy, YUCK and ichey!! But had a nice relaxing few days, thanks to Mother nature.

                        one of my favorites uses the three, and contrasting colors blue and orange

 

This car was a digi I colored to match sticker liked the look of the reto paper

 

This was a paper I added sentiment and rub on dragon flies

Just heard about the news ---bombs in Boston.....       so sad.

I was  going to try to make some cards tonight. I  have already sent off my Fathers day cards because I wasnt sure if I would have time to do more.   I still need to make my Mother her card.

I guess since my Dad likes hunting and fishing most of my masculine cards are based on that theme.
I really should try harder to expand which is why I tried the airplane paper and the stork.  At least I think it's a stork.

I keep trying to keep up with the challenges and if I get the cards done it seems to take me even longer to get them posted. I guess I just am not gonna be a regular blogger.

Sure it loaded first time this time. This my card blue and orange opposite colors on the color wheel.  I think it is missing something though.

2013 new challenges for a lucky year

 I actually started this year in bed at midnight as I had to work New Years eve and New Years day.
I am not making resolutions since I rarely keep them and do not want to start the year knowing I will screw something up.  I am going to try to do more challenges for OWH.
                                                         try to eat better.
                                                         try to be more giving and cheerful.
